The Phelps Arts Center is supported in part by grants from the New York State Council on the Arts, the Preston Foundation and the Milton and Sally Avery Foundation along with membership contributions from the community.

The Phelps Arts Center's Board Members, under the direction of President Bette Collier, worked over 60 hours to create this replica of the historic stainglass windows that grace the front of the building. A campaign is underway to raise funds to repair, preserve and restore all the stainglass windows in the building. Seen on the float is Board Member Pam Follett, Founding Director Marion Donnelly and Director John Maerhofer.

Oct 8 (Wed) - Dec. 17 (Wed): Come and Join the Phelps Arts Center's Chorale Group,  Kapelle Singers, Rehearsals, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Under the direction of John Maerhofer and Marion Donnelly

October 20 - Toronto trip to the McMichael Gallery, Round trip to and from Toronto by motor coach includes a snack and water provided during trip, admission to Gallery with one hour special tour with Gallery docent, gourmet luncheon at Gallery, and tour Director for the day. The cost per person is $95. Call the center at (315) 548-2095 by Sept 24 to reserve your spot. Passport needed or photo ID needed.

Nov. 16 - Sunday at the Center, Mitzi Collins, on Dulcimer and Roxanne Ziegler,  on Harp, 3:00 p.m.

Dec. 6 (Sat) - Phelps St. Nicolas Celebration, Join in village wide festivities, afternoon open houses, evening light parade, tree lighting and holiday fun at the Phelps Community Center

Stop by and check out the Phelps Arts Center on the National Register of Historic Places, this historical gem has served Phelps as: The Phelps Arts Center, since 2006; Phelps Community Memorial Library, 1976 - 2005; and St. Johns Episcopal Church, 1850 - 1955. These are a few of the beautiful stainglass windows that grace the walls of the center.
