1. Medical Insurance Available for Business Members
Business members may be eligible for discounted medical insurance through the Tri-Chamber trust or Geneva Chamber of Commerce. 2. Business Expo
Your chance to escape the office and to network with other area businesses. Get to know what other area businesses have to offer, trade business cards, make and receive new business referrals. Did you know for instance, that a Phelps-based company makes widgets that are used in nearly all the planes that fly around the world?
3. Village Window at Phelps Community Center
Chamber members have the opportunity to use the display window at the Phelps Community Center. Use this as another way to promote your business to and within the local community. Contact Chuck Molloy at 548-4073 to schedule your display.
4. Ribbon Cutting
For new or expanding businesses in town, we’ll come along and do an official ribbon cutting ceremony for you to help gather maximum attention. We’ll highlight you on the PhelpsNY.com website, take photographs and submit the information to all the regional newspapers and TV Stations. Call the Chamber at 548-5481.
5. Newsletter
Contribute to, and receive, the Chamber’s own newsletter now publishing six times a year to over 200 area businesses. Pass on your press releases, your news stories, your successes, or simply tips, tricks and updates for running a business that would benefit other local businesses. This year every business Chamber member automatically receives a company Basic Listing on the PhelpsNY.com website (a $26.00 value). Take advantage of the extended opportunities available to you for maximum exposure for the world’s fastest growing advertising outlet and upgrade to included a link to your company’s web site. One member business is selected each month as the spotlight business. Receive one month of special focus on your business, both from a sign outside your business, to announcements on the Chamber website, www.PhelpsNY.com.
8. Treasures of Phelps Brochure
Every year we promote our members’ businesses in our Treasures of Phelps Business Listings brochure. Last year the Chamber printed and distributed to over 4800 homes and businesses in Phelps and Clifton Springs. As a member you will be included in this brochure at no additional charge.
9. Chamber Member Plaques
Both Business Members and Friends of Phelps associates will receive a plaque to display, showing their support of Phelps and its Chamber.
