Come dance with Alison Newman, BFA, Certified Personal Trainer and Dance Instructor. Alison received her Bachelors degree in Performing Arts from Towson University in Towson, Md. She studied Dance Performance and Choreography and while in school she directed a dance program for the Owings Mills Recreation Department. She was a member of the Downtown Dance Company in Baltimore, Md and taught dance classes at the studio.
Alison is also a personal trainer and has extensive fitness experience. While living in Northern Virginia she worked with many prominent people. She started a personal training business and worked with clients around the Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. area. She is a medal holder in the Mid Atlantic region for aerobic competition. She has also been a massage therapist for 18 years and is pursuing her license in New York state. She is certified as a personal trainer through International Sports Science Association.
