Residential Computer & Electronics Recycling

The Transfer station is now a drop-off point for residential computer and electronics to be recycled. Computers and electronics can contain hazardous waste elements such as lead solder, mercury, cadmium and beryllium  Monitors, CRTs and televisions can contain from 4 lbs. to 8 lbs. of lead. These types of equipment need to be disposed/recycled in an environmentally sound manner. Although residential households are currently exempt from penalty, everyone is encouraged to be environmentally conscious.

The Village/Town Transfer Station is open Wednesdays from noon to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 8 am to 4:30 p.m. for your convenience.
