The 45th Annual Phelps Sauerkraut Festival
Arts & Crafts Show
Dear Prospective Arts and Crafts Vendor,
You are invited to participate in the 2012 Phelps Sauerkraut Festival Arts and Crafts Show to be held Thursday through Saturday, August 2nd- 4th. Please note that Thursday is optional and that this is now a juried show. You should send 2-3 photos of your booth, along with your completed application and all fees. If you would like your photos returned, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your application. Any vendors not selected for this year’s show will have their fees returned. Confirmation letters will be sent out as soon as the committee reviews your application.
The show will be on the Festival Grounds on Ontario Street in the Village of Phelps, NY. We are making changes to increase foot traffic and visibility for our Arts and Crafts area. We hope you will join us!
Set-up: Exhibitors must set-up before 4 pm on Thursday or Friday. All vehicles must be off the grounds by 4:00 pm.
Times: The official show times are: Thursday and Friday from 5 – 9 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 9 pm. (Vendors must stay open for the entire show. NO early departures.)
Clean-up: All vendors must clean up their space on Saturday after the fireworks traffic has cleared. There is no vehicle access Saturday night until after the crowds leave – about 11:00 pm.
Spaces: Your non-refundable fee (after acceptance by our committee) will reserve a 10’ wide X 10’ deep display. Display tables, chairs, tents, and supervision and clean-up of individual areas will be the sole responsibility of the exhibitors. There are limited indoor spaces available and are on a 1st come, 1st reserved basis..
Parking: There will be vehicle access to the craft show site during set-up and clean-up. There will be no vehicles on the craft show site during the show. There is NO overnight parking on the Festival Grounds for any vendors.
Terms: We are proud that this is a family event. We absolutely do not allow the sale of any real or decorative weapons including, but not limited to: edged (knives, etc.), projectile weapons, nor tobacco products. We reserve the right to ask vendors not complying with these terms to remove the items and/or leave the premise without a refund. We want to continue our family friendly atmosphere.
24-hour security is provided, however, the Sauerkraut Festival Committee, Phelps Fire Department, Phelps Volunteer Ambulance, and Town and Village of Phelps cannot guarantee any lost or stolen property, nor be responsible for any accidents, damages, or injuries incurred.
